Nipple discharge

Dd(16) has developed a leaky nipple.

She says she's not sexually active (although I know that doesn't mean she's not) and had her period last week, so I dont think she is pregnant although I will have her do a test when we get back from our trip.

What else would cause that?

It's almost certainly a hormonal thing. But worth a phone call to GP for reassurance

Generally hormones but it's always worth getting checked as it's more sinister for some people.

GP - nipple discharge can be a sign of breast cancer and although it probably isn’t she needs to get it checked out ASAP

I've just thought as well shes been complaining of a sore back recently as well.

Will call gp and get her an appointment when we are back. Will get her a test as well as I know the gp will want to rule that out.
