I had a balloon catheter put in yesterday and I thought all went amazing however...
Today I am in agony, I'd say the pain is as painful as a few days after I'd given birth. The cyst has got bigger even though I had it drained!!
I've called the emergency gynae unit where I had the procedure and they were shocked to hear it's got bigger. I'd say it's even bigger than before (was the size of a golf ball). They've said that if I'm still in this pain tomorrow I need to go in and get it checked out. My issue is, I'm now petrified I'll have to have local anaesthetic again but the thought of someone touching it sends shivers down my spine.
I'm on antibiotics also to reduce the chance of infection but seems I've already got an infection by the looks of things. The first thing my bf said was oh my god that's bigger than it was before! Which doesn't fill me with much hope.
Has this happened to anyone else? Where it gets worse before it gets better? It has been draining today however there doesn't seem to be much coming out of me compared to what's clearly still being produced inside!
