Discharge

I had a csection 12 days ago, I've stopped bleeding but now have a orange coloured discharge, my scar had started to seep on the Thursday and my GP said it was nothing to worry about and the scar was healing lovely , im just a bit concerned as both the discharge and the scar seeping are similar in colour. Has anyone else ever had this?

I've never had a C-section before, but I do remember lochia (post birth bleeding and discharge) and after the bleeding had stopped, it was a bit orange/yellow. If you're worried, obviously speak to your MW/health visitor/GP but as long as it's not stinky you're most likely absolutely fine.

Sounds normal to me, it is likely blood plasma with some red blood cells mixed in, hence the colour. Just what you'd expect so soon after a new wound. So long as it doesn't smell repulsive I wouldn't worry.
