I had a mirena coil fitted a month ago with no problems. Yesterday my partner experienced pain during sex so we stopped and found a long hair/thread wound tightly around his penis. I don't have long hair and we don't understand how it could have got there. Other household members do but we can't think how it could have found its way inside me. I wondered if it could be a mirena thread. I've felt for my threads and there is still something there though doesn't feel quite the same as before though am not clear on this as it's all so new. Any knowledge/advice would be greatly appreciated!
