About 5 years ago I had an abscess on one ovary & fluid on the other. Had surgery to remove the abscess & fluid. Ovaries remain. I think I’ve had one period since. Cause was infection from bowel.
Recently I’ve been experiencing excessive sweating. GP has requested my hormone levels be checked. I’m 44. Was only a telephone appointment so didn’t get much info. Would they be looking to see if I need HRT?
I’m quite concerned as I have bad MH at times and I’m stable at the moment. Unsure about adding new medication.
