Hey I just need some advice and reassurance!
Iv recently been diagnosed with a stage 2 rectocele, stage 1 cystocele and slight uterine descent.
I had a ring pessary fitted at my appointment and it had dropped down that evening and needed removing (very uncomfortable)
My consultant has offered me repair surgery and has also explained the risks of prolapsing again due to my age ( 23)
I have 3 children and both me and my husband have decided not to have any more!
I feel very down about the whole thing, Im embarrassed and feel ugly! I get a lot of dragging pain in my lower abdo and also can’t fully go to the toilet without helping myself ( sorry for tmi)
Has anyone had repair surgery and it be a success?
Im trying to weigh out the pros and cons
Thanks x
