Does Endometriosis need treating?

I've been having some mid month period pains and extra twinges/pains than normal for a few months now. Had an jnternal scan at hospital which showed nothing so I'm presuming it's endometriosis which I've historically had laparoscopies for.

My question is whether or not I should trouble the doctor again re this. The pains are annoying but it's not unbearable and I don't know if it's worth having surgery again. Previously I wanted to make sure it was all treated so it didn't affect fertility but now that I'm finished having children I don't know if it can do further damage? Is it important to get it cleared out? The only thing that would be good is if it didn't hurt having sex but I never end up having it anyway so suppose that doesn't matter either!
