Emsella chair for stress incontinence

Hello, just wondering if anyone has tried this. I’m menopausal and have had issues since giving birth to two large babies in a short space of time. I have been to various GPs over the years, but no one took it seriously. I’m now working overseas with top-notch medical insurance where you see a specialist for primary care. My gynaecologist has recommended 8 sessions on this chair. It’s not covered by insurance but I’m willing it pay if it will work. I would like to hear others’ experiences though. www.emsellachair.com/

I had my sessions. It worked really well at the time fir strengthening my pelvic floor. You really have to keep up with the pelvic floors afterwards though, which I lapsed on. My friend had a similar experience...really noticeable improvement at the time but not a permanent fix.

That’s good to know. Thank you.

Have you seen a women's physio (in UK) and been given treatment by them? Have you religiously done pelvic floor exercises ( 10 x 3 sets a day) for 6 months? As PP says, no electrical device is going to give you a permanent sure. You could also enquire about using vaginal estrogen which can help maintain and strengthen the tissues around the bladder.

@Spudina - how long do you think the improvements of the chair lasted for?
