Late Period - Definitely NOT pregnant

Hello,

I’m 26 & single & not seeing anybody so there is absolutely no way I’m pregnant.

Anyway, I usually have a regular-ish cycle. Typically it’s every 28-31 days and lasts a few days.

Only this month, my period hasn’t appeared and I’m now 6 days late with no signs of it starting.

I’ve googled and googled to find out why it could be and it just says the same that it could be stress, although I do not feel stressed Or anxious.

It also says online, if it’s been 6 weeks since your last period, then this is classed as a missed period. My 6 weeks is this week.

Has anybody else had a random late/missed period for absolutely no reason? I’m panicking a bit now and starting to feel stressed because it’s not happening.

Just need a bit of reassurance :(

TIA x

Have you had your covid jab?

Abet08x · 10/06/2021 12:52

@YerAWizardHarry I haven’t yet, I’m booked in next week for it :)

The only different things I’ve been doing are a bit of heavy lifting in the garden and a new cream for my psoriasis but that’s all I can think that’s different.

My period was once 10 days late with no explanation. Next month went back to being regular.

Oo okay, hopefully this is just a one off. I’m wondering if it could potentially be the heat as well as I don’t cope well with that.

It wouldn’t be anything sinister would it? I have health anxiety so have a tendency to overthink issues with my body x

Sometimes strange things happen. If it doesn't appear in a week or so or this happens for 3/4 months perhaps get some advice from your Gp / women's health clinic. A one off I wouldn't worry about though

I’ve missed loads of periods over the years. For me what does it is not eating enough
