I had my copper coil fitted in beginning on March, since the very day I had it done I have not stopped bleeding ( spotting & light bledding ) 3 months of bleeding ?! I’ve been for my check up & the doctor said everything looks normal ? Has anyone else had this experience ?
If anyone has experienced this does it get any better ? 😬

I had that with the Mirena coil, maybe not quite bleeding every day but more days than I didn't. It never really settled, I had a lot of spotting and very heavy periods.

@emmathedilemma
Did you get it removed ? I’m unsure on what to do for the best ..

It fell out eventually! Or at least that's what we assume happened to it during a particularly bad bleed with massive clots.

I had a bad experience with the copper coil

3 years of 10-14 day long periods super heavy days 3-10. Really painful cramps. Intermittent pain throughout my cycle, worse at ovulation.

I got sent for a scan and womb biopsy at one point after about a year of it being in. Scared me to death but everything was fine. I kept asking for it to be removed and they kept saying oh just persevere. After a particularly terrible period I marched into the family planning clinic and refused to leave til they removed it. I swear my uterus breathed a sigh of relief when it was finally taken out of my body

Awful 😩
