Help needed please.

Due to have the copper coil fitted tomorrow. Wasn't due to start my period until Friday....but just when you don't want it to it arrived today 🙈

I rang the clinic this morning to see what I should do. They said I can still have it fitted....I really don't know what to do...I've already waited 6 weeks for this appointment and the next appointment would be another 4 weeks. I just want to get it over and done with but feel a tad gross...whilst I'm on my period. Sorry for the TMI 🙈

Anyone had the same experience?

I have - I gave birth December and coil was in by January and I hadn't actually stopped bleeding since December to be honest it didn't make any difference, I had psyched myself up it was going to be an awful experience and 1 minute in the nurse was like right ok all done - I was in shock it was so quick and was no where near as bad as I thought.

Thank you for your reply! It really wasn’t as bad as I thought and the Dr was lovely 😊 x
