First period after c-section HEAVY!

Hi, 10 weeks post partum. Started my first period yesterday and it's really heavy. Going through pads pretty quickly.
Is this normal? It's not that painful, but a lot heavier than I was expecting! Should I be worried?

I had the same OP, the first one was heavy like you describe. See how it it tomorrow or the next day and if still as heavy I'd contact your midwife/GP. Congratulations on your arrival x

I had similar. Since having my kids my periods have been really heavy for two days then stop. I don’t get much pain either. I blame it on a poor pelvic floor.
