I'm 32, have 2 kids (youngest 2.5) and I haven't been on any form of hormonal contraceptives for over 7 years.
Since my periods started they have been 26 days cycle, ovulation day 11, bleed for 3/4 days. No real pain other than awareness and a bit of bloating.
After both kids they went back to exactly the same as before.
But now this is how my last few months have gone;
26
27
31
45
48
26
26
27
And currently on day 47 again with no current signs.

Is this normal? Should I be concerned at all or is it just one of those things? Just perplexed as to why they would change suddenly and randomly with no explanation.

Hi Op,

Sorry if this isn’t much reassurance but mine were like that for years and years, possibly more erratic, I never fully understood people who knew when their period was! Stress and other things can delay periods, my iron levels seem to make a difference to me. If your worried though it’s always best to get it checked out.
