Hi everyone,

I posted on here a couple of weeks ago about constant pelvic pain an severe bloating.

I've had all the blood tests, all came back normal. Had a abdominal and pelvic ultrasound today which the sonographer said looked fine, followed by a internal ultrasound, again the sonographer said nothing looks obviously wrong, she then said to contact the gp who likes to be the one to tell you everything is okay.

I'm just wondering where do I go from here. The pain is constant really low down, around my back an down my thighs. If everything is clear I'm at a loss as to what is going on an weather the doctors will just leave me to it now.

Any advice or anyone going through similar?

Hey Hayley,

A few years ago I had problems with bloating and pain in my lower abdomen. All my results and scans came back fine. I waited months but then tried an antidepressant because I had other symptoms of anxiety and that stopped the bloating and pain too, since spoken with other family members (my family don’t talk about health things openly!) and a lot of them have similar issues when they are very stressed and run down so for me it was mental health related.

Hope you get some answers from your GP. Or at least some other suggestions. It’s really hard to get GP help at the moment isn’t it.
