Hot flash through body

Does anybody have hot flashes throughout the whole body? I’ve been having them the past 2 days, I have to lay practically naked on my fan full blast and I can still feel heat in my face 🥵
I am only 28. Any ideas. Making me feel sick 😷

Could you be pregnant?

I haven’t had a period for 6 years up until last night which doing the deed caused. It was quite heavy I thought sex had bought it on but today it’s gone😢

Have you taken your temperature?

I'm 49 and have the occasional flush linked to peri menopause, they're not quite like you describe yours. They start at the chest and rise up to my face, and they don't last long enough to need to strip off and lie by a fan.

I haven’t, I do have CFS - chronic fatigue syndrome and I usually suffer with a low grade fever anyway, but I never get the hot flashes like this. I mean it’s 2:30am and it’s woken me up😢

Why haven't you had a period in 6 years at your age? Have you been to a gynaecologist?

I was on the mirena coil for 6 years, and I went straight on to the pill which I only came off a few weeks ago. (Complicated pregnancy which led to pulmonary embolism)

As a first step you really need to see your GP. As @Aquamarine1029 says you will probably need to be referred to a gynaecologist to find out what's going on.

I will definitely call my GP first thing Monday and hope to get in. Very hard at the moment with the current situation.

I would be willing to bet it's hormonal, but you really need to get this checked out.
