Cervical ectropion

Hello. I was bleeding after sex and went to the gynaecologist and i have been told i have cervical ectropion. Has anybody had cervical ectropion and been okay many years later?

Yes it's fairly common, my GP told me it was nothing to worry about.

Yep...totally normal. Mine comes and goes. Still make sure that you have a smear though to rule out anything else

I had this, the nurse at my GP practice pointed it out when she tried to do my smear test. I bled as soon as she tried to take a sample. She referred me to the hospital. They examined me, scanned me, didn't seem anywhere near as concerned as the nurse did. She told me the hospital perform a procedure to treat it. They sent me away as if I should have never been referred in the first place.
