Lochia at 20 weeks pp?

NC cause this is a bit gross but I'm a bit concerned about what I presume is lochia 20 weeks after giving birth.

For the last 4 weeks I've had an absolute excess of wet/discharge like the final yellow/white final stage of lochia. There's often a streak of blood in it too. By excess I mean having to change my knickers 3x a day and I'm waking up soaked with a wet patch in bed. I've been having really bad night sweats too. (It definitely isn't urine btw). I'm literally walking about and can feel it pouring out of me.

Has anyone had any experience of this? I've got an appointment with the nurse on Monday so obviously I will discuss it then I just wanted some idea if this was normal or not? I didn't have any of this with my first.

That doesn't sound good OP and like you might have an infection. I'd speak to the GP today, not wait until Monday.

At 20 weeks post-partum that won't be lochia. Like pp said, could be an infection so maybe get an appointment sooner. Also could be your period returning if it hasn't already and you are having various hormonal surges which are causing more discharge and the hot flushes.
