Sorry for tmi but I had my coil removed a week ago today due to non stop thrush.
It was an awful experience, almost as bad as having it fitted! It took two nurses 25 minutes to get it out due to my cervix being, well, I don't know, just wrong. Anyway she said to expect some pain and bleeding.
The red tidal wave began two days later and hasn't let up since. I'm passing huge clots regularly and soaking numerous thick pads throughout theday. I'm already on iron tablets but I've become so tired, feel like I'm running on empty which is obviously due to the heavy bleeding.
Has anyone else experienced this kind of post coil removal bleeding and clotting. What can I do to stop it!!
