Post hysterectomy prolapse

Hi there
Had full hysterectomy in October
Gynae didn't want to see me for a follow up and haven't been seen by another other professional
So I noticed a couple of months back things don't feel quite right when I go to the toilet- kind of heavy feeling. I thought oh well could just be getting back to normal. This has continued and feels worse in the morning when my bladder is fuller or need a bowel movement
Past few times had sex it feels uncomfortable tbf again that pressure sort of feeling and I've had light bleeding after. Is this likely to be a prolapse?

It could be! Ask your GP for a referral to a specialist women’s physio. Do get it checked out and don’t just ignore it... (I had post hysterectomy prolapse but have only had phone physio appointments so far, they’ve still been helpful!).

What symptoms did you have if you don't mind me asking?

Heavy, dragging feeling especially after exercise or activity... you could also have a look with an mirror or examine yourself to see if it feels different but make sure you’re upright as it often disappears when lying down!
I recommend the why mums don’t jump podcast for info and reassurance. There’s also some useful info on the hyster sisters site.
