Pelvic/stomach issues?

Hi, am just wondering if anyone could offer any advice or has been through similar. I am awaiting a doctors appointment.

For the past month or so I have been permanently bloated and look like I'm pregnant (I am not), no amount of exercise or healthy eating has done anything, I even wake up like it. I have low deep pelvic ache radiating to my lower back an now down my thighs, it's not unbareable just uncomfortable.

I have put it off an off going to the doctor but something doesn't feel right and honestly the pot belly is getting me down. I'm generally healthy, 29, not pregnant.

As I said I'm waiting a doctors appointment just wondering if anyone has any advice or ideas?

Thanks x

Hi :)

Do you know how long you have to wait to see the GP atm? Have you spoken to them yet?

My advice is to make a fuss. I have an ongoing thread atm about a similar problem - took me nearly a month to see a doctor in the first place. My thread (have a read through, I've been given some brilliant advice from other posters!): www.mumsnet.com/Talk/general_health/4219399-Bloating-ascites-fat-stomach

I hope you have more luck than I've had so far Flowers

I was in A&E last night cause the pain was much worse, and there was a young woman there with the same problem too. If you're that blue-haired lady, hi again 😄

Hi thank you for your reply.

Haha no I wasn't the woman with blue hair!

I have spoken to the gp this morning, I am booked in for several blood tests tomorrow afternoon and he has reffered me for an urgent ultrasound!

I am very suprised how quick they are able to do it with all thats going on at the moment! Where abouts are you from?

Sorry to hear your having similar problems.

Have you managed to see your doctor yet?

Have they given you any idea what's wrong?

My full blood count came back normal so did the glucose test, they are still waiting in the CA-125 and CA 9 - 19 results x

Hi @MrsD91
Did you find anything out? I'm going through similar x

MrsD91 · 08/06/2021 11:34

Hi, sorry to hear your going through similar. Well all my blood tests and tumour marker tests can back fine. My abdominal ultrasound was clear. All they told me from the internal ultrasound was that my uterus is not in the correct position and was hard to find as it had fallen back, and my ovaries were measuring on the large side. They couldn't find anything sinister looking and have gone for the 'watch and wait' which to be honest is not a lot of comfort or help! I hope you get more success. Have you been seen by the doctor yet? Xx

@MrsD91 thank you for replying. I had a telephone consultation with gp today who has made a face to face appointment for Friday. I'm glad to hear yours is nothing sinister and ultrasound was clear. I'll keep you updated with what my Gp says x
