Smear test harassment.

I'm curious if anyone else has had this issue as well, I have been consistently harrased by the nurse at my gp practice about booking for a smear test. How many times in the last 12 months? Well it was 5 times yesterday afternoon, texts, calls and voice mails... I have never heard of anyone having more than the letter when they are due, I've never known anyone to be this persistent. I'm not even due, I went private for it last September so it was less risky than going to gp because of covid. I have told them this several times this year already yet they still won't leave me alone about it! I'm now considering removing myself from being reminded by the NHS, it's stressing me out!

Complain to practice manager.

Tell them if they're interested they can get the private results (the private ones should have let your GP know the result if you said yes to that. I always did but the private people never passed on the info, turns out).
