Note:I'm trying to speak to a nurse at my GP but easier said than done, I'll try again tomorrow. I'm in no pain
...
Background: I have monitored my periods sice August. One 4/5 day period a month. In January I fully stopped bf my toddler, but it has been minimal.

I decided to go back on contrecptive, of which I still had some in date, on the first day of my period, 25th march. It's supposed to stop menstratiom. I had a 6 day period, missed one pill day 7, kept talking it as normal, been taking other procautions as well.

Then I had 8 days no bleeding, followed by 10 days of light bleeding. On day 8 of this second 'period' I stopped taking the contrecptive and decided to discuss different types. So I stopped bleeding for two days and today, more blood. Again light and no cramping.

Another reason that I stopped the pill was that it was adversely effecting my mood too much.

Could anyone she'd any light about what could be going on?

Just to add:I didn't think about it until reading another post but I also had my second Pfizer vaccine just after my march period.

The mini pill can cause erratic bleeding as well as stopping periods. There's no guarantee periods will stop.

All the stopping and starting of it won't help as it will make your hormones fluctuate. In some women you need to take it for a few months before periods settle down
