Hi I wondered if angina could give me ideas on a suitable gift for a lady undergoing chemotherapy? I know there’s a lot of foods she can’t eat but I’m not sure what else she maybe can’t use like moisturizers etc. thanks

Nice eye mask
Selection of teas from Tea Pigs
Magazine subscription eg New Yorker has 12 issues for £8 and then you cancel the subscription.
Books from genre/author she likes
Nice body wash
Cosy socks
I wouldn’t choose moisturizer as that’s a very personal choice.

You sound like a lovely friend, as was mine who got me some of the above for my surgery recovery.

If she has kids how about some 'childminding' vouchers. That she can cash in when she wants a break. (You provide the child care).

Nice "lounge wear" that's soft & comfy but a step up from PJs so could be worn to hospital sessions.

I have just been through an operation and treatment and a friend sent me a box covered to look like a hamper, filled with different things like an aloe plant, a nice bottle of elderlfower sparkling drink, some nice biscuits, shower gels, candle, favourite sweets, magazine and a few other bits I can't quite remember. I was so pleased with it mainly because it was so personal and so much thought had gone into it. I really appreciated that.
