Very long back story but I had my first zoladex last week after going to A and E and begging for help with extremely heavy, long and painful and my symptoms are just getting worse.
Very heavy bleeding, pain and massive clots. I'm resorting to incontinence pads as nothing else can hold the flow. I've been bleeding heavily for nearly 6 weeks currently.
I'm exhausted and don't dare leave the house or do more than shuffle to the bathroom.
Luckily working from home which involves sitting and mostly working on the PC but I'm miserable.
My emergency referral has been sent back and I'm on a waiting list of indeterminate length. This is despite the A and E consultant doing a 2nd emergency referral and my GP contacting the consultant direct.
Could the Zoladex still kick in and help? Anyone else who has had it and it took a while to help? I'm desperate to just be able to do normal things like walk the dog and cook the dinner!
