Do at home blood tests for iron levels work ?

I’ve been anaemic off & on in the past and have got back up to normal levels with iron supplements. I’m feeling tired & drained now & wonder if my iron might be low. I just can’t face going to the doctors though, it’s so hard to make an appointment & they make you feel like you are wasting their time, especially if it isn’t. Do the tests you can do at home actually work?

I’d be really interested to know too. My dr is happy with my ferritin of 22, even though it’s dropped from 33, I feel awful and I don’t have periods.

I’m wondering if this, because it is lab tested,

Would be worth the money rather than this

I hope someone comes along who can recommend a test.

Ooh this one checks 4 things. Funny how I can happily spend £30 on a candle but flinch at the prospect of paying for a blood test.
