Migraines changed since pregnancy - anyone had this?

Before pregnancy I used to suffer with migraine with aura, which was very much linked to my hormones. I would get on average about 3 each year, so not terrible, and managed with triptans. They started when I was about 13, so all very classic.

As soon as I became pregnant, I started to get very frequent migraines without aura, which settled down after about 20 weeks. So far, so normal.

Since pregnancy, I’ve not had a single migraine with aura (for which I’m very grateful) but I have had really frequent migraines without aura. No obvious trigger. They’re definitely migraines as they build throughout the day, always in the same place, and I absolutely pass out when I manage to get to bed.

Anyway, I can manage them, I’m just wondering if anyone else has had a total change to their hormonal migraines since having a baby?

Migraine Trust only suggests that with the return of periods, will be the return of hormonal aura migraines but I’ve had no sign of them.

I know it’s a bit daft but I can’t help wondering if something has changed with my fertility/hormones.

Lots of things can change them. For me:

As a child - unexplained vomiting

As an adult, pre pregnancy - fairly mild but painful. Aura rare. Slurred speech also a symptom during predrome. No postdrome.

Pregnancy - none. Yay!!

Post pregnancy - extreme tiredness right before. Much worse. Often sick several times. Ended up so frequent, was on preventative for a while.
