Transvaginal ultrasound now getting sharp pain

I had an internal ultrasound 3 hours ago and my right side upper abdomen is hurting. It’s like a sharp burning pain. It comes on every few minutes and my hot water bottle isn’t helping 😞 has anyone else had this?

I hope that the pain has now settled down? If still there, (Now Sunday early evening) I would suggest you advise GP or unit who carried out ultrasound.

I have had a few transavaginal ultrasounds, and although uncomfortable. most "pains" are temporary and subside after 24 hours.
