Hi does anyone suffer with vaginal tears? Mine started when I came off birth control and started using condoms with my partner. They gave me awful thrush and I developed a tear in. It was agony. It felt raw and was spotting for a few seconds when we stopped. It stung bad when I weed and got in the bath. I also had anal fissures around the same time. We didn't use condoms the last 2 times we had intercourse and I still felt a tearing sensation minor spots of blood and raw feeling on the entrance. Swollen and sore for a few days then that's it. I have an appointment on Tuesday morning and the dr wasn't at all concerned but it's really getting me down

Are you getting properly wet? The only time this is common is when a woman hasn't enough natural lubrication.

I came off the mini pill in December and have felt like I'm shaffing almost during sex. I'm wet to start but then not if that makes sense? Sorry for the overload of info. The dr thinks it was a year from where I had awful thrush and the friction from the condom. The tear keeps re splitting

If your wetness is going away then you need to look at less full-on penetrative sex and stopping and starting more. Stop doing it when you start to get less wet....then do more foreplay. Banging away at it will often cause this problem. Are you doing penetrative sex for long periods?

Nope not really. I was recently diagnosed with health anxiety and ocd so I don't think that helps really. It plays on my mind about how much pain I'm going to be in in the next few days

Have you tried lubricants? I like the Yes organic range.

I actually have a skin condition that causes small vaginal and anal tears all the time. I’ve had endless investigations but the cause is unknown. It’s very grim and frustrating.

Right...so that's definitely playing a part. It's VERY important that you take time to start having sex without penetration for a while. There are lots of other things you can do...massage is good as a starter to be more intimate and relax properly.

Cheesestring - What is "shaffing"? I am perplexed.

We have but they leave me feeling irritated and it's like half way through intercourses that the tearing sensation begins
