I've taken strong pain killers more often then not for years for back pain

I have recently stopped taking them and I've just had my second period without them

Both have been extremely painful

I don't know what to do

I've been taking 8/500 cocodamol
Buscopan x 2
Ibuprofen .. which also hurts my tummy but I don't know what's the less of two evils

Historically I have used ponstan or tranexamic acid as I used to bleed really heavily

What can I do to help the pain is there any ideas

I really don't fancy a day of trying to get through to the GP

I think you need to call your gp. is there an underlying cause? you should not put up with this. hope you feel better soon.

I would call the GP because this problem needs to be further investigated by a gynaecologist. Endometriosis is a common cause of severe period pain. Do not put up with this.

Soo painful

I've got my username back

Still awful

I've tried to do e consult and no answer

Bloody resent the GP surgery so much

Wish I could just pay them or shake them to sense to see when someone needs help
