Can thrush wipe you out?

Hi, I feel silly for asking this but can thrush wipe you out, make you feel like you have an infection/flu like symptoms?

I started with really bad back ache 4 days ago with a bit of abdominal pain, then on the 2nd night started to get really itchy and burning around my vagina. I felt absolutely awful like I have an infection or something. I got some canisten with a pessie thing from the chemist yesterday and applied it last night, I definitely feel better. But still very drained.

I have a mixed connective tissue disease so pain and fatigue are not uncommon with me at all, but this definitely feels very different. It also means when I get sick it tends to hit me harder than others. It’s been a good 30 years since I’ve had thrush but don’t remember it knocking me out like this, but I was a lot younger and healthier then too. I did wonder if i has a uti but I’ve not had a fever or pain while peeing at all.

Has anyone else experienced this?
