I had a septate hymen as a teenager and didn't realise understand what it was, I genuinely thought at the time I'd never be able to have sex and would have to live as a nun!
Anyway it broke during foreplay with my boyfriend and everything was then fine.
Just curious when the hymen actually develops as i have a 6 month old daughter and I'm not sure if it's hereditary. If she has one it's not an issue but something in which I'm not sure may develop as she develops, everything looks fine at the moment but has anyone had any experience with this?
