My gynae has recommended this pill for cyclical mood symptoms. My worst being just as my period finishes and oestrogen starts to rise. I always have 3 or 4 days of very dark depression and sometimes suicidal thoughts. The day after I can wake feeling totally ok. So just before he during ovulation I feel ok. Post ovulation I’m just a bit low really but also pretty ok some days.
I’m 41 and have Mirena coil but blood tests don’t show I’m menopausal.
Has anyone tried these pills? Seems they’re amongst the most risky?
