Brand new (!) Mirena Coil

Anyone want one for free? Still in packaging as I couldn't use it. Can't return to chemist - and loathe to throw it away as worth £140! Surely there must be a woman's charity or something I can donate it to? Thx x

Where in the world are you because here you don't buy them and then get it fitted you go to the Dr or clinic and they provide and fit. I'm not even sure you can buy just a coil.....why would you?

So you have a coil you can put in yourself? Are you getting coil confused with something else?

No, private gynie writes the prescription which I then collect and he fits it. First time he was unable to remove the old one - hence an unused coil! Bit strange I know!

You want to try the NHS - it's free and I've had two removed effortlessly.

Sometimes the strings of the coil get caught up and a hysteroscopy is needed - which is what happened to me - just telling you just in case it ever happens to anyone else!
