I’m on day 3 of a 5 day treatment plan for BV using metronidazole gel. No side effects at all apart from I’ve just become quite itchy down below! Not inside either!
The leaflet says itching can be a side effect, but I was curious if anyone else has experienced this?
I didn’t have any of the classic BV symptoms to start with, no smell etc - just more discharge than was normal for me (it was so little before that it was barely noticeable)
I’m concerned that once I’ve finished this treatment I’m going to have to start another for whatever it’s done to me.
