Mood changes with merina coil

Hello,
I have had a merina coil in now for just over 2 months. I have started experiencing very low mood over the past few days. I'm just wondering if it is caused by the coil or a coincidence. If you found the merina had this effect on you, how long after you got it did you start to feel the effect?

I had one for about a year and I think it definitely affected my mood. I wondered about it at the time or if I just felt low because of everything else that was going on and the fact that it did nothing to alleviate the heavy bleeding it was put in to try and resolve. I don't think I really get on with anything that contains hormones, even if it's only a low dose.
