Bleeding bad 5 days after having theCopper coil ?

Wondering if this is normal ?
I had a copper coil fitted a week ago and bleeding really heavy... but cramps have gone.
Anyone else had this experience ?

I've not had the copper, I've got the Mirena but I'm sure they said that if the bleeding was heavy and didn't stop to go back? It was a while ago though. Did they give you any guidance?

Thank you !! They didn’t really say what to do if it continues.... they said it may last a few days . Buts it’s getting heavy ?

@Lifesforloving1 I bled for about 10 days when I got my coil fitted it was awful! I then 'missed' my period the following month but return back a month after that at my normal date
