Fat Transfer to breast

There's always a lot of talk about breast implants, but little about fat to breast transfer (lipofilling). Does anyone have an experience with this that they could share?

It's often used in post mastectomy reconstructions (I know someone who had a DIEP flap done for that reason)

It's quite an extensive operation though, as there is also the abdominal site from which tissue is removed, as well as the reconstruction of the breast. It is the the current good standard
