Severe ovulation pain

Currently curled up in bed in serious pain in my lower abdomen. I get this every month for a few hours, maybe a whole day. It’s worse since having DD.
I know some people suggest endometriosis as a cause, but my periods aren’t really a problem, no heavy bleeding and basically painless - does that make endometriosis less likely?
Is this just one of those things? DH and I did have sex this afternoon and this month does seem slightly worse than other months, can sex aggravate ovulation pain? We’re ttc and this pain is making me even more keen to conceive this month, so I won’t have to do this again for another 18 months or so (based on when my periods came back with DD)!

Hi OP

Sorry you are feeling so bad. I came on with same problem but completely different situation! 49, peri menopausal, definitely not ttc - and having horrible nausea / cramps /headaches for several days before ovulating. Never used to have this but it’s getting worse and worse as time passes.

Paracetamol and rest seems the best thing to do. I hope it passes soon.
