No period yet weeks after abortion

Hi all,

I am still waiting for my period even though it has been 7 weeks since my surgical abortion procedure. I am getting very worried. I called the nurse who said it may be my hormones not returned to normal yet. Has anyone else gone through or going through delayed period after abortion?

It’s only been 4.5 weeks but my pmt type symptoms are awful.
It’s interesting to hear it means hormones haven’t settled.
