Uterine polyp

I posted on a thread below but no one has posted. They think they have found a polyp in my uterus from a untrasound scan.
The doctor said I am potentially looking at a D and c and a hysteroscopy very anxious . Think it would involve GA . Do polyps grow back ? Any body had this?

My polyp was removed when I was 36. They think I have another and I’m 42.

How did it go. I have a lot of pain from polyps and some bleeding. I am also hoping to get pregnant but wondering if I should wait to get these removed first.
