Hi everyone
Was hoping I could hear some of your experiences if you've tried Evra (the contraceptive patch).

I've been on Zelleta for 4 months and I've been bleeding ever since and I'm just so tired of it now. My blood pressure has dropped from this constant bleeding and I've broken out in hormonal spots. On top of this, it's given me terrible depression. So I'm done.

I wanted to try Evra because I want something that can regulate my bleeds (at least). I'm healthy, not overweight, don't smoke and I'm 31 years old.

Has anyone been on Evra, and if so please could you share your experience? I know everyone reacts differently, but I'd like to hear the good and bad.

If you look up Zelleta you'll see that 99% of the comments are awful 😂

Hi there, just wanted to reply, am using evra for a good few years now and found it fine, no problems that I can think of. Doesn't seem to be that well known. Very handy to use patch instead of a daily tablet. Am now approaching end of my forties so I have a new set of challenges ahead!! Smile

I have just come off Evra after using it the past 9 years. I’ve recommended it to so many people! No problems with weight gain, PMS, or irregular cycles. I was 28 days exactly like clockwork which made it super easy for planning if I needed to keep a stash of sanitary products with me or not. Never had any spotting. Only small minor thing was where the adhesive is, I had a few spots under the patch so when I took it off I had 2/3 in that area. But that’s purely as it’s concentrated hormones in one spot, but nobody sees that anyway apart from me and my bf. I honestly have nothing bad to say about it, good luck!

Tried a few different types/brands of contraceptives but found the patch to be best. Only side effect I experienced was a slight rash where the patch was placed. Its not the most attractive looking thing (its larger than a nicotine patch) and the adhesive mark is a bit of a pain to rub off your skin afterwards but it's comforting seeing it there and you get a 48 hour window if you forget to change it after 7 days rather than the 12 hours you get with a missed pill.
