Possible PCOS

Some advice needed.
I’ve had various tests to check for PCOS but all came back fine.
I have excess hair growth on my face, neck, chest, belly, back and bottom, irregular heavy periods and extremely bad pms.
After having my children, my youngest being 8, my breasts produce back/green liquid which is all been checked out at the breast clinic and I have been informed it’s normal.
My period has been missed last month and this month is already 5 days late but with bad cramping, extremely teary and spots showing up.
I’ve noticed the last few years when I have had my period that I have been bleeding out my bottom.
I had an irregular smear 5 years ago with a laser taking them off.
Smears since then have been fine.
I’m just worrying something is being missed!
Has anyone been through anything similar?
I feel like the Drs just fob me off when there is clearly something not right.

Sounds like pcos. The only real way to find out is a transvaginal ultrasound, as often hormone blood tests need to be done at a certain point in your cycle. You might find going on the pill will help with the pms and make your periods more regular. Are you overweight? Just a 10% reduction can improve symptoms.

Endometriosis could be the reason for the bottom bleeding.

Keep a record of all that happens to you over a cycle (however long that is for you), then once drs are back to doing normal appointments, you can go in fully armed. Good luck.

I am overweight and struggle to loose weight.
I monitor my food intake and don’t over eat and not a big drinker.
I was put on the pill at 15 due to extremely heavy painful periods.
I haven’t struggled to conceive which I thought was a major factor.
Thank you for your advice, will hopefully get back to Drs and look more into it.
