Continious pill taking, bad cramps but no period

Hi all,
This is my first time asking a question here. I have been taking the pill continuously for 3 months (first 2 was milinette and 3rd month changed to femodene)
I didn't take the last 3 pill as I started to have cramps for about 2 days and I though something wants to come out. Therefore I should've got my period (normally I get it on the 3rd day spot on)
I have been very nauseous the last couple days and got worried so I took a test this afternoon but it is negative. I am 7 days late now, still nauseous and having horrible cramps but still nothing.
Can continuously taking the pill cause this? Anyone has any experience? I am getting really worried as this never happened to me. Feel like I am going to come on but than nothing. Also the pain is so bad this evening I can hardly move. 😞

Hey,

Depends on lots of things. If your pill is progesterone only then you shouldn’t have breaks anyway. I’m on the pop but I still get a monthly bleed. It’s probably your body getting use to it!

I’m not enjoying the pop as I’m always bleeding and always have cramping it’s driving me nuts lol

I am on the combined one, but rather not have periods so started to take it continuously. Just got worried as I didn't understand why nothing happened, but it arrived late last night and I'm not in pain anymore. So probably yes my body just isn't used to this way of taking the pill.
I tried the mini pill too, was bleeding constantly and was in so much pain I stopped it after a couple weeks. I envy people who get on on the mini pill, to me it was the worst experience ever.

If your on the combine one you should have a break at some point. I use to be on this one and I would have a 7 day break at the end of my pill pack then back on it.
