So I've been spotting pretty much every single day for the last month. Some days it's red, some days its pink, some days it's literally black. But pretty much every single day with maybe one or two days as an exception. Judging by my temp chart it doesn't look like I ovulated this month, and all pregnancy tests I've taken have been negative so there's like no explanation for this.

I've been to the drs and they took some swabs for infections but honestly I really don't think anything will come of that.

Has anyone had any similar experiences?

What came of this? I’d have thought they’d want to do a scan.

Josiemac93 · 04/02/2021 14:33

Honestly I know. I have been pushing for a smear, mines not due till may but they won't. They won't take my blood, or do a scan or anything. All swabs from gp came back normal so I've got a phone appointment with gp tomorrow. I'm going to push for further investigation.

Oh and I'm now having a proper period so that's good at least. But still.

Are you on hormonal contraception?

Josiemac93 · 04/02/2021 22:02

No nothing at all. In September I had symptoms of cervical polyps as well, which have since gone and no one would see me or investigate this either. I just feel totally neglected by my gp at the moment. I understand we're in a pandemic but I personally feel I need medical attention and to be properly checked out.

Cervical ectropian/erosion possibly?

Josiemac93 · 04/02/2021 22:30

I do have a cervical erosion but I didn't think it would cause a month of bleeding because I've had it for years and bleeding like this just isn't normal for me. I usually bleed around ovulation but definitely not everyday throughout my cycle.

That’s really good news. Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

Josiemac93 · 08/04/2021 00:32

Hi all. Just thought I'd post an update. My scan appointment hasn't arrived yet, the bloods came back fine and the spotting stopped so who knows what was going on!
