Lumpy tissue above pubic bone?

Wondering if anyone else has this. Having a feel around in the shower a few weeks ago I noticed some sort of lump in what (feels like) the fatty tissue to the left above my pubic bone. Mild panic ensued thinking it was ovary related, until I realised ovaries are further up than that.

I don’t know what this thing is - it’s more palpable when I’m standing up, it seems to move further into my body when I lie down but if I route around for it I can still feel it. I’d say it’s about an inch wide and it feels quite rubbery and firm, and if I move that bit of fat/skin around then it goes with it. No pain or anything else.

I had a feel on the other side and it’s not the same, however I can feel a similar kind of thing in several spots but much smaller.

Could it just be lumpy fatty tissue? I do suffer with anxiety so I’m really not sure if this is a doctors issue or not.

I had a baby in Feb 2020 so I’m not sure if it’s just torn muscle or scar tissue from that.

I had a lump down there when I was pregnant both times but the doctor reassured me not to worry. It disappeared after pregnancy, but it may be hormonal related. I would get checked out to put your mind at rest x

Hmm. I never really felt around until now so I’m not sure how long it’s been there. It’s not visible from the outside, only if I feel for it.

@doireallyneedaname i now this is old but did you find out what this was and is it still there? I've just found the same thing x

I had these after injections so where ever I had an injection of diclofenac steroids or IM things I used to get little lumps

Yes, still there!

I’ve actually had 2 pelvic ultrasounds since this post for a separate issue, and this has never been mentioned. 🙂
