Has anyone had a mammogram whilst still breastfeeding or recently stopped? If so did it show amy unusual result needing further investigation? If you needed a biopsy did you end up with milk leaking out the post biopsy wound? I ask this because this happened to me previously and I didnt have cancer. The staff didnt seem to anticipate the milk would leak out of milk ducts and I wondered if breast changes during breastfeeding can generate false alarms on a mammogram? I am now going through the same again. Have been called back for more investigation. I extended breastfed by DD and only managed to phase it out recently. She still has the occasional feed for comfort (about every 4 weeks) and insists there’s still plenty of milk much to my surprise,
