How much blood loss is too much blood loss?

I have been bleeding every single day since September 😒

I am losing about 12ml per day (use a menstrual cup!)

I had a baby over a year ago and I have never had regular periods, so bleeding for such a long period of time didn't alarm me! But I'm fed up now!

I have the coil for the first time in my life, had it fitted a year ago now.. but I have bled most of the year too 😒

Any advice welcome! TIA

That seems like quite a lot in my opinion - I would get checked out. Has it been like this since you got the coil?

You need to see your GP. I had a coil fitted and bled more days than I didn't but it was nothing like that volume on the "non period" days. You definitely meet the NHS definition of heavy bleeding that they should investigate the cause of www.nhs.uk/conditions/heavy-periods/
