Lump on Labia

Fawn68 · 09/01/2021 14:49

Out of the blue 2 days ago. I just happened to feel a small pea sized lump under the skin to the right of the clitoris, on the labia minora. It is not at the entrance of vagina, it is higher up so not bartholin cyst. It moves under the skin and isn't painful! Has anyone ever had this before? It's gave me a scare and feeling very anxious.

Hi yes I had the same thing went away after around two weeks, leave it alone don't touch it and if it doesn't go away soon see your gp, mine was nothing and went away by itself Hope this helps x

@courtsbxxox thank you! I've been taking baths and holding a hot flannel on it, and it's reduced in size, it's hard to find now so I'm hoping that's a good sign. God but don't you worry so much when you unexpectedly find something you know shouldn't be there. Thanks a million for the reassurance x

Absolutely!!!! I thought there was something majorly wrong with me and I googled it which was a wrong choice!!😂 it started talking about cancer and cysts and stds!! Its always worrying when there's any issue down there, it was itchy at first also so I though omg if this is an std I have been cheated on because I have not slept with anybody apart from my partner. Worst two weeks of my life! Lol and you are so welcome!!!xxxx

I’ve had this twice before and both times lasted about a week and went away

Fawn68 · 10/01/2021 21:58

@courtsbxxox exact same as me lol!! Google is awful but it's the first place we go to, yes that's how I felt mines as I was slightly itchy then wondered wtf the lump was and near fainted. And because it was in the inside and not outside of labia! X

@Ty36 so strange how they literally just appear overnight! Hoping this disappears fully. Thanks for the reassurance x

Yes. I was actually having a smear soon after so I got it checked. Was told it was a small cyst and not to worry. It cleared up on its own after a few weeks. I’ve had another one in a different place since - same deal.

Is there any colour to it? I had a small purple lump. Was some sort of blood vessel. Disappeared on it's own after about 2 weeks.
