I've had a coil for about a year now and before that was on the progesterone only pill for years. Never had a period when I was taking that and had no bleeding for the first 6 months on the coil. Since the summer time I've had really light periods but the blood is always brown. Google tells me this is old blood and normal at the start or end of a period but it's the only bleeding I get. Just wondering if it's because it's minimal (really minimal, I barely need a pantyliner) amounts of blood it stays brown or if it's something I need to talk to a doctor about. I have anxiety issues around going to the GP but will call them if necessary but just on the odd chance anyone had any ideas on it! Thanks
