Help!! Could this be inflammatory breast cancer?

So back in September I had a round ring come up on my left breast on the underside around a week we got back from s hot tub lodge stay, spoke to the doctors and they gave me a prescription of trimivote (steroid cream) to help see if it goes away. This worked wonders and it disappeared by around 90%.

Then around a week ago (a week after another hot tub stay I will add) I had another mark come up in the same area this time it wasn't a round shape but was still white in the centre and red on the outside just not ring shaped. I also had one come up on my right breast at the base of my areola and another really faint one on the back of my left arm.

A few days after i then had a pink mark come up on my breast above the nipple it didn't hurt nor was itchy but came down with some sudocream. But now the pinkish mark is back again DH says again it looks circular but very very faint.

My breast is slightly swollen as well but it has always been the bigger breast out the two so difficult to tell and not sure if because it is on my mind or could it be the steroid cream or I am thinking about it more because I am aware of it.

I have had no itchiness on the ring rashes, nor any other itchiness, feel completely normal, no discharge, inverted nipple etc. My lymph nodes are slightly raised. I am 24 and overweight and have pcos as well. I have a 2 yr old haven't breastfed etc.

Am I just completely worrying for the sake of it? I'm not usually one to post but it's been so on my mind for the past few days but don't want to go in before Christmas. Thank you x

If you are worried you need to consult a doctor again. Nobody can tell you on the Internet.

That said inflammatory breast cancer is rare. It can be quite like mastitis because it blocks the lymph channels. It is often uncomfortable, causes orange peel skin and nipple discharge. It can cause the nipple to move or retract.

Your symptoms could be a dermatitis or fungal infection.

Thing is nobody can know without seeing it. Go back to GP.

Thank you for your advice will definitely go back to the doctors just wanted some personal opinions on it maybe someone who has experienced something similar to put my mind at ease over Christmas, I have attached the pics of what both look like X

I'm sorry but nobody can tell you. Try and get an urgent appointment and real advice. Whilst it really is unlikely to be sinister you have to know for definite. People can share their experiences but you'll still ask what if won't you? Rotten timing to be frightened.

I've no personal experience of this type of breast cancer but I did go to the go once to rule it out as I had a mark on my breast I was worried about. Go reassured me that inflammatory breast cancer progresses very quickly, it would not go away with any kind of steroid cream either. If you first got symptoms in September, given it's now December you'd be showing quite a progression I would imagine.

I don't think it's anything to worry about but a gp will be able to put your mind at rest.

Did you get this looked at OP? I'm in a very similar situation and awaiting an appointment at my GP's! 😬

Yes I did although took a lot of persuading to get an appointment doctor said to just apply moisturiser as looks more like dermatitis but said it was nothing sinister xx
